No. TiiHub is fully usable on iPhone alone. Scan objects and rooms, decorate in AR right on your phone, post to the feed, browse Hubs, and collect items. Vision Pro adds a persistent digital shelf, hand tracking, physics modes, and full immersion on top, but it's completely optional.
Yes. TiiHub Explorer is free to download and use. Optional Creator and Pro subscriptions unlock expanded uploads, the Creator badge, room tracking on Vision Pro, and premium storage. Every core feature (scanning, AR decor, sharing, collecting) is free.
Object Capture and Area Capture use Apple's Object Capture API, which requires an iPhone with a LiDAR sensor: iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max or any newer Pro model. Non-Pro iPhones can still use every other feature: AR decor with collected items, browse the feed, post photos and videos, collect, and join Hubs.
